ExoPlanet is a game aimed at high-schoolers that are learning about astronomy.  The aim of the game is to find a new habitable planet for life.

Players start with a map of all of the current stars that have been found to have extra-solar planets orbiting them.  This is loaded from a real-world data set.

The players must choose an appropriate star based on the information given to them.  From there, they are taken to the solar system stage, where they must select from the planets orbiting the selected star.  They are then taken to the surface of the planet, where they can assess the finer details of whether the planet is habitable.

Missing data (like more exoplanets, atmospheres, and chemical compounds) are added at random, and can be saved and loaded so a teacher can have the same data given to each student.
